“Chris Lester has set his tales in a city where magic and technology coexist in compelling fashion. The production is noticeably top shelf, and even the author's non-story musings are interesting and not nearly so self indulgent as compared to some other podcasting authors to whom I listen regularly. The only negative for me is that at times the underlying music can become obtrusive, eg., introspective and sentimental scenes are often paired with music that makes them come off maudlin and even whiny. The writing and voice acting is strong enough that I feel the scenes would stand well enough in these instances with less. This has quickly become my favorite podcast!
