Blend Of Anthology And Serialization
An anthology supernatural show, with the framing device of listening to an audio tour guide in a museum telling a story about/surrounding an object (1-3 per episode). A few of the stories are interconnected and a larger plot builds in the second season. The supernatural stories are mostly horror in nature, but some are more hopeful, which provides variety - some stories are like SCPs, while others are like fairy tales; some are original, while others are retellings (Cottingley Fairies, the devil and Robert Johnson). I like how the first letter of each episode title creates an acronym related to the season. The main character, an AI, has a fun sense of humor and the overarching story regarding its personhood is interesting.

Just an expertly...Read full review »
