I was standing at a bus stop in Boston and scrolling through my podcast app. I was an expectant father and suddenly had the idea to look for podcasts about fatherhood. Modern Dads Podcast is much more than that and I love how inclusive they are of all types of parents and parenting styles. I also...Read full review »

What do I think a modern dad is? Someone who listens to this podcast. Really enjoy listening to this podcast--does a great job of giving the father's perspective. Progressive, informative and great guests--keep it up! And big shout out to the resident sage, Whit Honea.

So I accidentally came across this show searching for another, very happy I did! Well produced, not too long and very informative. While reading a lot of parenting books I noticed the emphasis was often on the mother and these books weren’t that old, say early 2000’s. It’s nice to see that...Read full review »

Since I started listening a few years ago I have enjoyed the show very much. Although recently (since the 2016 election) the show has turned into liberal drivel. I want to hear about raising kids and being a dad, not whiny liberals complaining.

Shallow conversation for modern dads.

Listened to my first episode today- Dad 2.0. The first guys were great, referenced our nations need to bring different opinions together for civilized conversation. The host then invited Whit one, who gave an emotional tirade worthy of MSNBC or Fox News. Practice what you preach.

I regularly listen to the podcast and enjoy the perspectives and information brought into focus. The one area for improvement would be pace of the show. It could move a little faster and fit a bit more into an episode.

Great and necessary reflection for changing traditional Representations of Masculinity.

I'm devouring these "dad podcasts" these days, being a father myself, and thoroughly enjoying the conversation that seems to be taking place across the nation. This "Modern Dads Podcast" is by far my favorite. It doesn't have that over-produced, distractingly glossy, self-promotion feel. It...Read full review »

I can't tell you how nice it is to hear a podcast that shows the modern father at his best. Matt and Lance have great interviews and it is really motivating as a father to hear how much they are doing for their kids and the community in general.

The guys at Modern Dads are spreading the word on what fatherhood is, and means, today. Inspiring stuff.

One of my absolute favorite parenting podcasts, let alone DAD podcasts. Upon listening to all of their episodes, specifically Episode #4, this is clearly one of the best podcasts I have heard in the dad blogger space to date, regarding kids, technology, responsible parenting and the serious...Read full review »

The podcast (and blog) focusses on the realities of being a dad without any pretense or stereotypes. As shown by the second episode, they are not afraid to have real conversation about real issues, such as the importance of seeking help for depression. This podcast is a must-listen for any...Read full review »

Great talk and indepth conversation. Not a bunch of fluff. Really liked about how they talked about making a choice to be involved fathers by being willing to walk away from all that society tells us is important.
