Creativity is Hard Work
This is a fantastic podcast for anyone with at least a casual interest in the Arts and creativity, but it should be mandatory for any young people aspiring to work as an actor, writer or director. Koppelman, a successful screenwriter and formerly a successful executive in the music business, does a terrific job of guiding artists through their professional careers and what it took for them to become successful. Over and over you hear stories of hard work, multiple drafts and rejection. The great lesson you quickly learn is that the works of these successful people don't just come out in a moment of inspiration. They start with an idea or a talent and then keep working and working, writing and writing, constantly improving until they're successful. Pick an episode of someone you like or are familiar with, and I'm sure you will be hooked.Read full review »
