It’s just OK
TLDR: Another Murdoch Empire stooge editorialising on right wing politics… I think I’m going to call time on this version of the Money Cafe now. It’s much less entertaining without Alan Kohler and has turned into a bit of a James Kirby waffle-fest. He brings on guests but often interrupts them to answers his own questions, goes off on tangents and waffling editorials and takes guesses at answering questions without knowing the answers. It’s still OK, just not great. If you’re pretty right wing and only interested in what’s best for the well off in society, you’ll enjoy it. He lionises all rich people as good people whereas anyone who is poor probably deserves to be where they are.

Great show. Love the banter between the two. Excellent way to get detailed but accessible insight into some of the key issues in the market and economy more broadly.

A far better podcast is the livewire podcast "The rules of Investing"...Read full review »
