“I’ve really enjoyed this pod (barring the first 5/10 mins of the first one).
It’s been interesting to consider just how important pubs are, and the discussion of preferences is a lovely structured way to investigate the character and personality of an individual.
I was particularly struck by the guest selections for episodes 1 & 2 which serve to demonstrate that the appeal of a pub is broader than I had casually considered, that is, social groups other than Middle Aged white men can wax lyrical about their appeal too….( who knew!!!) ( I am well aware that doesn’t show me in a particularly open minded light…but I am getting there).
