“I gave this a go as I quite like the whole guest star chooses their perfect thing format. It took 25 minutes for guest star Greg James to turn up. John Robins had read out two long poems in that time. In between the two poems was a load of aimless faux-Dickensian rambling from a bloke who loves the sound of his own voice. The kind of talk that makes me think he doesn’t actually go to pubs, as talking like that would get him chinned in most pubs, surely.”
