“I preface this review by saying that I really enjoy the podcast, the hosts have a great dynamic, the format is really good and the guests are very interesting. My issue with it arises from the most recent episode in which an advertisement interrupted a guest mid-sentence. I have no problem with adverts in podcasts, art is work and the creators deserve to be compensated for the the long hours they put in to providing us with free entertainment, but surely they can edit the show in a way that doesn’t interrupt the content quite literally mid-sentence. It ruins the flow and immersion of the show, and I find it disrespectful to the listeners and, in this case, the guest who was interrupted. In a show that has defined segments like this one, I hope they find a better way to fit in the ads.”
