“Hi, I want to start off by saying I absolutely LOVE the moth!! Longgg time listener and I also have attended a live show. It’s my favorite podcast.
I hate to ask for another trigger warning before shows… I realllly do! But I have come across this issue a lot lately. I am pregnant and there are many episodes on traumatic miscarriage & still births etc. Pregnancy is an extremely sensitive and can be terrifying. I am having twins and I am a high risk pregnancy. I try to avoid filling my brain with this type of trauma especially since I have experienced miscarriage before. I KNOW that I am NOT alone in this with other pregnant people, it can be really disturbing and triggering in our condition. I think it would be beneficial to mention what stories are going to contain traumatic miscarriage and pregnancy complication as we do with sexual violence warnings.
