If you love movies and great conversations, this is for you!
For anyone who loves film, is interested in the industry or even just wants to hear entertaining conversations between friends, this is a fantastic show! You'll learn things. You'll get some interesting perspectives. You'll hear about films you may have missed and want to check out. The best podcasts have hosts with chemistry that comes from their genuine friendship. Zaki and Brian's friendship is evident and they have generously chosen to share it with their listeners. Brian and Zaki will tell you not to go back to the first few episodes but even the old episodes are a lot of fun. The back catalogue is an interesting time capsule of how the MovieFilm boys felt about past films as they were being released and how they were received by the public at the time. Zaki's predictions are bold and sometimes quite amusing in hindsight. Their movie commentaries might be the best feature of the podcast and can easily be listened to with or without the movie. There will be moments where you'll get even more enjoyment out this podcast if you happen to be a child of the 80s but it's certainly not necessary. Their occasional celebrity impressions will have you cackling with glee. This is a treasure trove of enjoyment that I highly recommend.Read full review »

More reviews of The MovieFilm Podcast
They repeat the same Mercedes ad three f***ing times before the podcast starts and i thought slash film cast was bad with ads.

I love how articulate and candid Zaki and Brian are in their podcast. They talk about the relevant blockblusters and also give recommendations on movies I wouldn't have considered otherwise. To keep it fresh, their commentaries are a fun treat and their sense of humor make it an easy listen!Read full review »
