Poor narration and kind of pointless in its early episodes
The narrator’s relentless sing-song inflection makes this podcast almost unlistenable. Add to that the constant mispronunciation of town names and the gawkish nature of drilling into details of the victims’ lives without any discernible point beside feeding community curiosity - this podcast is pretty disappointing.

It takes a special gift to make such a riveting story completely dull, but this podcast manages it. The presenter has a super annoying voice,, the interviews are dull, there’s a lot of padding and you’ll get as much information reading the news. A shame as it really is an interesting story.

Prime example of a podcast that should have used a professional presenter, rather than a journalist who is really rather proud of herself for being a journalist. Awful delivery. And it’s slow!
