“I started listening to your podcast long before I ended up in a relationship with a man who had kids from his previous marriage. I was prepared for the feelings that came, even though I still struggle with guilt. Without your support system, I’m not sure I would have been confident enough to keep this relationship together. I would have carried a large heavy shame that likely would have made me feel so bad that I would have thought that getting out of the relationship was the only way to make the shame go away. I’ve been a member of the Nacho Kids Academy for a few years and from time to time I go through a challenge or watch a lesson and it helps immensely. I can’t thank you guys enough for helping stepparents find a way to stay in the blend and finding a path that allows for grace and forgiveness and imperfection.
