“There is a maddening allure to this podcast. When I first began listening, I thought: "There is no way you can talk about beauty products for an hour and make it interesting." Well, I was totally wrong in part because this podcast is about so much more than beauty products. Brooke has created a podcast about beauty and the fascinating beauty philosophies and lives of so many interesting women who are magical go-getters. It's less about advertising an expensive lotion and more about what people's routines and beauty philosophies reveal about themselves. Also, I just love how I get boujee black girl vibes from this podcast. It's an unapologetic celebration of something long seen as frivolous featuring black women (and non-black women, sure).
