“Mike Heiser is a “dot connector” who distills hard-to-access scholarship into knowledge for the masses. His approach is faith-based but not dismissive of critical scholarship. Academically and theologically rock solid but not afraid to be heterodox. Mike’s work has significantly strengthened and enriched my faith and is the sole reason that I now, finally, can truly say that the Bible is my favorite book.
Update: I am deeply disappointed by the bloodthirsty, genocide-endorsing Episode 463. Heiser’s nuance, class, and gentleness, as well as his theological interpretation of the conquest (cosmic geography, elimination of giant clans, situating Scripture within ancient near eastern genres, etc) are nowhere to be found.”
