really outstandingly excellent
Like a cross between QI, Brainiac and New Scientist magasine and a local radio phone in programme, this podcast is one of my favourites and my son loves it too. It gives me up to date information in the world of science, done in a down to earth (even the presenters are highly intelligent, their not smug or patronising) interesting, and easy to understand way - even when they are talking about it very complex. And importantly, they do not claim to know everything (though sometimes it seems like they do), they make it clear that many findings are theories-theories that are open to change based on any new evidence that might, and does occur. Includes items like- latest science news, specialist guests, excellent q+a's from audience, and kitchen science which often you can do the experiments in that feature alongside the broadcast. Excellent for adults and kids, and recommended for anyone interested in science. Good to have it on a podcast too, to play back any bits you may miss or wish to hear again....Read full review »

The coverage of biological and medical stories is superb. The only thing tipping me away from giving the 5th...Read full review »
