“The more I listen to of New Century, the more drawn in I am. Shaw has a talent for creating fascinating worlds and scenarios, but keeping the focus of the story on the characters and how they react to those worlds and scenarios. The characters are both relatable and heroic, providing a look not just at what we could be, but how we could get there as people. The pacing is top notch and the stakes large enough to be important but small enough to be personal. Ultimately, what we have are people who are learning to be better versions of themselves and I want to stay with them the whole way.”
