My favourite podcast - but I have one criticism...
My favourite podcast, and the only one whose Patreon account I signed up to as soon as it launched. One criticism – I wish the hosts would cover more films from the 1940s and 1950s, and fewer from the last thirty years. In 260 episodes (as of January 2021), they've covered only five films from the 1940s, and seven films from the 1950s. 35 films from the 1990s have been covered, and 21 films from the 2000s. I'd love to hear more episodes on the likes of The Treasure of the Sierra Madre or A Matter of Life and Death, and fewer episodes on films like Iron Man or The Dark Knight.Read full review »
