“Even if you haven't had any loss as huge theirs, this podcast is a must. Because as christians we´ll always be sorrounded by people dealing with suffering and loss, and we will be at some point of our lifes. As they said in one of the episodes, we should get ready to fight the battle before it starts.
It made me remember some if not all of the chapters of the book Not by sight by Jon Bloom.
"When the storms of life hit, they almost always appear
stronger to us than God’s Word. It is crucial for us to remember
that our perceptions can be deceptive." - Jon Bloom
"There will come a time when Jesus’s prayer (John
17:24) for us to be
with him will overrule our prayer for prolonged earthly life.
And when it does, we will experience a life so far better, richer,
fuller, purer, and more joyful that we will shake our heads in
wonder that we ever pleaded to stay." - Jon Bloom.
"Steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world. But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you. To Him be the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen." 1 Peter 5: 6-11”Read full review »

“I can't recommend this podcast enough! Learning about suffering from someone who has walked through it is incredibly insightful. Some of my favorite episodes included the interviews with Amanda's dad, Joe & Shannon Zimmerman, and Trevor Bayne.
Thank you, Davey!”Read full review »
