My favorite weekly podcast. Beth and Sarah have the greatest commemorations and advice when life is challenging. They make me feel less alone.

Sarah & Beth do such a great job on their second podcast the nuanced life. They are amazing at creating a space to discuss life questions and commemorate milestones that otherwise don’t always get a ton of recognition. They help me to think in a more nuanced way about my own life and to be...Read full review »

I love this podcast! It’s thoughtful and deep but also easy going and a quick listen. It’s a great way to break up the week with something that’s not always intense or political- although I am an avid listener of Sarah and Beth’s Pantsuit Politics podcast. I love these ladies!

I thoroughly enjoy the format of commemorations and Q&A - and every Wednesday I’m excited so see what the topic of the week is. I become a better woman, friend, wife, mama, employee, leader, coworker, and human due to the variety of topics discussed. The wisdom, grace, and nuance that Beth...Read full review »

I found Sarah and Beth on their Pantsuit Politics podcast, which I love. When l learned about The Nuanced Life I didn’t think it was for me, as my life situation isn’t like that of many of their listeners. But I was wrong! The emphasis on this show is “commemorations”, recognizing meaningful...Read full review »

In the dumpster fire that is 2020, this podcast is such a gift. Refreshing to hear thoughtful, intelligent and sensitive conversation between female friends around the profound and the mundane.

Hands down this is my favorite podcast. A friend recommended it to me two years ago, and I’ve enjoyed every episode since. Sara and Beth both have a way of speaking everything I never knew how to put into words, and they have a uncanny way of phrasing the questions and perspectives I need to hear...Read full review »

I have been a listener of TNL since it debuted, and I will freely admit that I am here for whatever Sarah and Beth want to talk about. That being said, the show has added an advice segment, a segment where Sarah and Beth discuss a cultural issue, and they continue to celebrate listener...Read full review »

I appreciate the letter from a woman with infertility. I have 2 children, which is stressful, but it’s healthy for me to remember that some people who want kids don’t get to have them. Their lives are meaningful and we’re all worthy of respect and kindness. I hope that I treat people with respect...Read full review »

Re-subscribing now that the format is changing. Full episode of listener commemorations was not for me. Happy to have this back in rotation in my feed!

I love Sarah and Beth and their entire way of interacting. I do wish they talked more about non-parent things, but I also know that’s just very much not my stage in life right now. Either way, they’re awesome.

Wednesday’s are my favorite day of the week because the nuanced life drops! Each week they talk through all of the difficult conversations I have quietly talked through with myself. Hearing their perspectives has truly shaped my life for the better.. and I don’t even have kids yet!
