Farhan might be the most arrogant hockey podcaster in the industry… dude, chill. You can have an opinion without being a dick about it.

No gripes with the content, but the audio quality definitely needs to be more consistent. Some episodes sound like two people talking on speaker phone while doing the dishes.

....and I still listen to it from time to time. I really respect Farhan's feedback. He is balanced, thoughtful and I am not surprised considering he has been in the industry for years. Thomas Drance on the other hand has slowly gotten worse. He pushes his opinions and cuts off Farhan too...Read full review »

Drance has a lot of knowledge and a good reporting network to draw on . For a program like the Vancast to work a good interviewer as host is needed to keep Drance on point and cut through his arrogance. Unfortunaely the second person on this program , Farhan L is completely miscast . He has only...Read full review »

Listened since the beginning. Always enjoy Drancer’s takes and deep dives, even if I sometimes disagree with them. Big time missing JPat, tho.

I’ve listened to each reiteration of the VanCast and when Farhan joined, it made me a consistent listener for the first time ever. I’ve loved listening to Thomas and Farhan separately for years and I’m so happy they’ve joined together to do this pod. Keep it up guys.

It’s always the one guy talking. It’s always more interesting when podcast hosts have about equal air time, but recently it’s just been the one guy going on endlessly. Unsubscribing since I’m not really interested in listening to a monologue.
dariusexplorer via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 02/17/22
Been on the Vancast from day one. As an Australian and Canucks tragic it’s difficult to get real time content so this pod fits the bill for on demand. I wasn’t sure if I was going to continue with the Vancast in the post JPat era but Drancer added another great co host in Farhan. Love the content...Read full review »

Awesome as always. Informative, funny and easy to listen to. Thank you
Bunnie5001 via Apple Podcasts · Canada · 01/10/22
This is an above average Canucks podcast served on a bed of leftist politics. Both hosts are close to the team, understand the market and bring interesting perspective and analysis. Also, they bring that righteous indignation that we’ve become familiar with on every politically far-left network...Read full review »

I used to LOVE LOVE LOVE the Vancast, especially when JPat was on. Farhan, thankfully, is a worthy replacement now that JPat joined S

A podcast in which the fundamentals of the Canucks are fundamentally discussed. I think the overall message is that the fundamentals of the fundamentally fundamental Canucks are not fun, and in fact, fundamentally flawed. Fundies.
Dreamkiller2233 via Apple Podcasts · Canada · 11/16/21
Farhan and Drance are one of the must listen to Podcasts for Canuck fans.
Tuggzoe via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 11/16/21
Love the show Drancer and Farhan have great chemistry.
BigJimMcBob via Apple Podcasts · Canada · 10/07/21
This is longer the podcast that Jeff made. I choose to listen to prognosticators from BC, the west coast has lots of local talent to provide content.
Thane5 via Apple Podcasts · Canada · 10/05/21
Drance why are you yelling so much at Farhan? You guys need to develop some chemistry on the vancast 2.0. Farhan is a great addition, Drance you gotta find your footing again and yell into the mic a bit less.
Brett C2020 via Apple Podcasts · Canada · 10/01/21
Love the addition of farhan lalji
zwaansong via Apple Podcasts · Canada · 09/25/21
Just remember this for the listeners…. Botch to Drance is technically a downgrade (harsh but we all know). Farhan isn’t J-Pat. Just keep it informative, fun, fresh (Ok Im hearing it already hahaa - a “vomity” Garland?! hahaa), rip this pod up, boys !

We will miss J Pat but you got this Drancer! Love listening. Thank you for keeping the Van Cast going.

Love the pod and all the best to JPat! Harman will probably be the next co host and if this is true please get him to show his personality. He’s too stern during his radio hits

Hard to find a Canucks pod any better. Really appreciate the detail! Great work guys. Love from Saskatchewan

Five star content but gets docked because Drancer sounds like crap. Please buy a pro- level mic. The audio quality on his own podcast is unacceptable. JPAT sounds great. Do as JPAT does
kingcomevj via Apple Podcasts · Canada · 07/16/21
New listener just downloaded and listened to latest episode. In the middle the hosts whine for five minutes about how hard their jobs were and how Vancouver fans treat the hockey media in Vancouver. After 2 minutes I thought they would stop. After 3 minutes it got irritating. By the end of the...Read full review »

Overall good canucks discussion and insight. Be prepared for Drance laughing obnoxiously too often during discussion. Cringeworthy, makes for bush league content. Otherwise would be 4 stars if not for that.

J-pats going to be announced as the play by play of the abottsford whatevers. Only thing that makes sense. Anyone wanna bet?

I love the podcast. However, please “do something” about Drancer’s audio!!

Seriously dude, putting away dishes while recording?
Piperats via Apple Podcasts · Canada · 06/14/21
Audio content needs improvement. Sounds like an echo chamber
Duke Mangold via Apple Podcasts · Canada · 06/13/21
Love the show, but could do with (a lot) less of Drancer’s laugh. And Drance needs a better mic and to stop doing the show in his echo-y bathroom. Amateur sounding. Be more like jpat
ncbeau via Apple Podcasts · Canada · 06/13/21
Best Canucks content around. Very V.I.P. worthy. Although, just wondering if there is anything to be done about Thomas’ audio quality? It’s very echo-y and hard to understand at times.
oldmancloudy via Apple Podcasts · Canada · 06/11/21
Any chance Drance can get either a new or a proper podcast microphone to improve the sound quality on his end?
Mike6117 via Apple Podcasts · Canada · 06/07/21
5 stars for the Flight of the Conchords reference. The Canucks stuff is good too.
Hermitcain via Apple Podcasts · Canada · 05/26/21
Ehh
Whiney guys with annoying voices that will never be happy. Canucks central is better.

The passion for the job and the game is obvious. I appreciate listening to guys that care. Keep it up!
slamdunc65 via Apple Podcasts · Canada · 04/24/21
JPatt and Drancer are probably the most dynamic duo in the ocean of Canucks podcast. I’m convinced if they decided to start a religion there will be plenty of followers if it’s not secretly set up already. At some point I think their sponsors are going to recognise that they have become the one...Read full review »

The Elias Pettersson of Canuck podcasts. Really enjoying the addition of guests lately. Would love to hear Bieksa, Dan Murphy, and particularly Halford and Brough just to hear how they are doing. Guess that Canuck and the Travis Green interview were welcome respites during the Covid shutdown. ...Read full review »
