Incredibly fascinating bites of art history delivered in a warm, humorous, and empathetic deadpan that sometimes elides the depth of knowledge and experience the host brings to the show every time. Highly recommended and I’d love it if this were a weekly thing!

Interesting content, but Gihring tends to over-dramatize and has an annoying voice. Can’t believe a museum staff member would mispronounce “Giverny.”

Not too long, not too short. Just right. And done well with plenty of interesting info. I am taking notes for my next visit to Mia to check out objects and art discussed in episodes.

This fusion of history and art is one of the best things I’ve spent time on in the last year. I learn something new in every episode. And often laugh or gasp or both at what I’m learning. Bravo to the MIA!!

Interesting material but the host trails off at the end of each sentence and I miss half of what he says! He needs to speak up.

This pod never disappoints. Superbly told stories detailing elements of one of North America’s most interesting (and always free to the public) collections.

Fantastic podcast! I'm going to have to visit the museum once I catch up with all the episodes. This also reminds me of Sidedoor which is Smithsonian's podcast, but I like the local flavor of this one.Read full review »
