My goodness do these two have chemistry. As an Oscar enthusiast who listens to just about everything out there in the podcast universe, these two are a breath of fresh air. From their personal anecdotes as actors to their breezy comments of Best Picture nominees, their sense of humor seems...Read full review »

The sound quality so far is often grating, and I find Meghann to be a little bit abrasive as a personality hosting a podcast. And while they like to wax scholarly about films, I think their tastes are fairly basic. Which is fine, I’m not judging anyone for their tastes. But I do fine myself...Read full review »

I have listened to a dozen plus episodes trying to give this show a chance but I finally had to tap out. In addition to sometimes having 10 minutes of inane off-topic chatter before actually getting to the topic at hand, the female host repeatedly drops offensive statements in the most casual way...Read full review »

A perfect storm of east coast sarcasm, balanced film criticism, and nostalgic reminisces of old friendships. M + C keep you entertained and informed, whether it’s for 45 min or over 2 hours (which they would admit is a criminal time span). Enjoy!

Started from the first episode and worked my way back to the beginning of the pod. Love the show and Craig and Meghann. Not gonna lie, though, if I would have started with the first episode, I would have passed. Meghann, you yell WAY TOO MUCH!

Love this podcast! Love watching along with them and hearing their thoughts on the films. They’re insightful and funny. Glad that they’re now reviewing the lead acting races!

Craig and Meghann are so fun to listen to—they clearly love movies and even though I haven't seen lots of the movies they talk about (I’m not a huge movie buff) I find it so entertaining and interesting. I like how they pick one year per episode to discuss, and I especially liked the Meryl...Read full review »

Do you like movies? Do you wanna hear a wino from New England and an Astros fan who officiates weddings talk about movies? Then this is the podcast for you! Not since Reynolds Woodcock and Alma Elson have two people had such great chemistry. Craig and Meghann are a delight to listen to. Add in a...Read full review »

I can’t believe it’s taken me so long to write a review. I love this podcast — part comedy but also part film history class, but where the professors aren’t pretentious and will give you ALL THE TEA on Dustin Hoffman. I love the special Glenn Close and Meryl episodes especially. No other...Read full review »

Nothing gets me more excited than the abject disdain that inevitably shows up in every episode for a long-forgotten movie that somehow got nominated for Best Picture.

Ron Leibman won a Tony Award for playing Roy Kohn in the original Broadway production of Angels in America. And he won an Emmy for the show you mentioned...Kaz. Just sayin’ Also, William Sanderson played Lee Dollarhide, who was Doo’s moonshine-running cousin. Lee was stealing moonshine from a...Read full review »

This isn’t a googlie, it's instead a great movie history podcast, with two entertaining hosts, that has lead me to check out so many great films I otherwise would have likely never seen. Give it a listen!Read full review »

I really enjoy revisiting the films from Oscars past. I'm a pretty big film buff but even I sometimes forget about films like A Passage To India and Places in the Heart. The banter between the co-hosts is very enjoyable and I'm genuinely impressed with their diligence to watch and...Read full review »

This pod gets TWO THUMBS UP! It is 100% FRESH! Gene Shalit would have said “give an Oscar to... THIS PODCAST!” Anyways, it’s great!

I have been an Oscar lover for years and I am loving this podcast. As someone who screamed negatively when crash won and feels like Almost Famous was robbed of a nomination this is my new favorite podcast! I get so excited to see a new episode pop up! This is one you need to subscribe to!
