“If you can get over the obligatory microphone cut out which happens every week you’ll have the pleasure of being told everything you know is rubbish. Nobody knows better than the almighty Barry Collins.
He’s that guy you sort of know, you want to avoid meeting him in the pub but feel obliged to talk to if you bump into him. The guy who knows it all...the guy who laughs at your earthly story of internet speed or at your lack of knowledge of file compression or video encoding. If only we could all be as smart as Barry Collins. All hail Barry’s amazing brain.
Here’s a suggestion, if you have a topic to talk about, try not giving it to the almighty Barry Collins. He hasn’t got time for these silly topics that us mere mortals know nothing about. Why is he even on the show. Each week - Barry has a topic, and he can’t be bothered talking about it. Oh here’s a topic for Barry - *siiiigh*. I sort of get that his character is mr arrogant miserable, we all like having a role to play, but perhaps it’s not a good idea to have such a character which is supposed to be an informative podcast with the purpose of engaging listeners.
Please replace him so we can have some sort of reasoned debate. Let him return to standing outside Apple stores, sniggering at people buying iPhones with his pal Michael Deer.”
