It was the best tech podcast I’ve ever listened to.

I like the pod but have to suffer some unforgivable audio issues like feeding back of peoples audio constant sniffing and breathing noises.

It’s very rare I take the time out of my day to post a review but I’d like to give a little back to the PC Pro team and say ‘thank you’ for delivering such a well balanced, informative and enjoyable show. My Friday morning run (and every Christmas Eve run past St Michael’s Mount listening to...Read full review »

I used to love this, along with the other UK tech shows. Now it's been ruined by ads. The one at the beginning can be skipped, but the rest are slotted in at random, not even a pause after sentences. They didn't need to do it before.Read full review »

Friends (and absolutely brilliant tech professionals and journalists) chat about this weeks tech news. I love it, thanks PC Pro

What happened to the woman that used to challenge the men. I know it was a couple of years ago but she was very funny and articulate. Paul J

A great bunch of guys talking about tech. Although, it is a shame they seem to dislike (or don't get) anything that is pushing the boundaries like Crypto, NFTs, folding phones, convertible laptops etc. It reminds me of the early days of online shopping, when all the reporting was negative,...Read full review »

I really like the style of this podcast, I feel like I am chatting with pals in the pub. And Tim will be pleased to know that its because of this podcast that I subscribe to the magazine !

Like (old) Top Gear for PC geeks. Nice to have a UK focused show that doesn’t take itself too seriously.

Wish it was on twice a week! Well done everyone 👏

Truly an entertaining and informative podcast. The scope of discussion and the natural, sometimes irreverent, style makes this a must-listen every two weeks. Long may it continue.
Dekyras via Apple Podcasts · Great Britain · 03/26/21
Always enjoy listening to the team chat about the week’s tech news. Two cynics vs two (somewhat) optimists! It works! It’s never too technical and always entertaining. Keep it up!

A bunch of blokes who break all the rules of good podcasting: clumsy, ameturish presentation, crap equipment Yet they manage to turn out a completely charming, engaging and informative podcast. I have listened to every podcast since they started. Don’t change a thing please!

Love the format, presenters and the fact they constantly have IT issues is hysterical. Needs to be shorter though. Could this be achieved by separating HHOTW out into its own podcast?
fatbaldbob via Apple Podcasts · Great Britain · 04/24/20
I have no idea why the audio is so bad you would think with all the tech they discuss they would know how to resolve it. Jon Honeyball has a first class honours degree in moaning and bragging about how rich he is and wasting money but the other presenters are more down to earth.

I’ve been most amused reading some of the reviews here, like the podcast they’ve made me laugh out loud; (in a good way)! I’ve been listening to this podcast for many many years now. The mix of contributors is perfect - straight Tim, informed Dr Darien, grumpy Barry and Uber-nerd Jon. This...Read full review »

Subscribed a few weeks ago, so far they are all just ‘dell specials’. Gave up after 2 podcasts.

It’s always been a great podcast and still is. Audio quality can be a bit poor and some of the contributors insist on typing/mouse clicking during the recording, but it’s still one of the best PC podcasts I’ve found.

This podcast used to be amongst my favourites. The broadcast quality was exemplary and the discussion interesting and relevant. Now it sounds like a couple of guys in their spare bedrooms. Production values appear to be non-existent; poor quality audio, background noise and interruptions owing to...Read full review »

Otherwise a great, unmissable podcast. If you insist on keeping him on, please move his mic away a bit to reduce his unfortunate mouth and throat sounds. And maybe a word in his ear that he might not in fact know everything and he can stop boasting about how much money he spends on Macs, fine...Read full review »

I preferred the old roundtable format which had better audio quality and a more diverse roster of contributors - Sasha Muller and Nicole Koby in particular are badly missed. I listen to most episodes as it’s still a decent bi-weekly synopsis of the big stories in the tech industry. However the...Read full review »

If you can get over the obligatory microphone cut out which happens every week you’ll have the pleasure of being told everything you know is rubbish. Nobody knows better than the almighty Barry Collins. He’s that guy you sort of know, you want to avoid meeting him in the pub but feel obliged to...Read full review »

Thanks for a great podcast, really enjoy the content and the informed opinion you guys have. But please for the love of god sort out the audio quality it sounds like your in a fish tank.

It is great to see the podcast back and is always expertly informed (except for the anti apple bias😄). But the quality of the audio should never suffer in the pursuit of video views. It is especially abhorrent that the host has the worst audio!

This is one of the podcasts for the tech lover, it has now returned after a hiatus but stars docked for sounding like they are broadcasting from under water, shame.
Moar Beer via Apple Podcasts · Great Britain · 05/19/16
I used to enjoy this podcast in its old format. New format as Google hangout has made the audio awful. For a tech podcast you'd really expect better quality recording 'tech'.Read full review »

Always a joy when it comes around on my playlist, the PC Pro Podcast brings a fresh, British slant to the Tech scene. Obviously they are a group of people who enjoy working together and their banter is informative and enjoyable.

Simply great entertainment. But informed as well as amusing, relatively tech heavy, so only for PC enthusiasts. But if you are a system builder, PC enthusiast or if you just like to keep abreast of modern computer tech this is worth a listen! I have been listening to the PC Pro podcast for a number of years and have generally found it to be helpful, well-informed and amusing, however I fear that, after suffering its only major failing as much as I can, we have now reached the end of the line and must part.
