Deserves more than 5 stars
The Penumbra Podcast is a series of radio-drama-style stories that visits every time and place in its mission to be as queer as possible. Its main storyline follows Juno Steel, a Martian noir detective who's afraid of blood and heights. In between Juno episodes, there are standalone stories that range from horror to fantasy to Western, so even if you aren't into mystery there's probably something for you. The writing and acting are superb, as are the music and sound design, and the actors' voices are very distinct. Also, there's a lot (a LOT) of LGBTQ+ representation, and it's done without fanfare, which is a beautiful thing. That's how all media should be.
