“I keep track of at least two dozen podcasts, and The Penumbra is one of my absolute favorites. The stories are all original and exciting, and I love the different spin they've put on the detective genre, with the future setting and an homme fatale. In fact, all of the episodes have an inspired approach to gender roles and relationships which is extremely refreshing. I've listened to all of these episodes a couple of times, and they only get better with repetition. Juno Steel is an excellent character (and the actor who plays him is a gem), and his sarcastic streak is a thing of beauty. I never could resist a snarky detective. So much fun!”Read full review »
