Jamal Adams Trade + Team Building
First off, great pod! Always informational, love the atmosphere too. A great listen to help slog through the work day. Jamal Adams wants out! He stated the lack of traction on a contract compared to CMC & even Mahomes. McCaffrey’s contract is avg per year 16 mil. This is 1-2 mil over the highest paid safeties currently. Supposing that a similar contract would make Jamal suddenly happy to stay- if you were the front office of the Jets. Would you make that deal? Or find a trade partner? And how much draft value would equal a known young commodity like Jamal? Is there a way of figuring bird in the hand vs the draft mystery in terms of WAR?
