Emma is so funny and lovely to listen to. This is the funniest podcast ever!

I can’t get past the voice. It grates on me. Content is just the worst. Really sounds like they are trying hard to be funny. Reminds me of David Brent from The Office. Gives Brummies a bad name. Tragic!!!!!!!!!!

I love listening to Emma’s podcasts. I find them so relatable and nostalgic. Really takes me down memory lane and I love it. Lots of giggles and laugh out loud moments. 🤩

Keep being you. Love listening along. It’s like being a fly on the wall, listening into conversation. Thanks Emma!!

I love reminiscing about teenage/youth stuff! It feels like Emma has lovely convos with the guests. Keep it up!

Love this podcast! All the chats have been relatable in different ways. Emma puts both guests and listeners at ease with her friendly, fun style of chatting. It’s like having a trip through Nostalgia town and those scary teenage years - being able to look back on them with a smile and a laugh is...Read full review »

Oh my this warmed my heart. So many happy memories evoked, think you and knee deep in the 90s need to do a 90s concert / festival with a Tiki bar serving Malibu, archers, and hooch and the like.

Look forwards to this every week! Like a chat with friends.

This is my teenage years in a podcast! I follow Emma on Social Media and love reading and watching all of her content so was so pleased when she said she was doing a podcast. I loved it even more as it’s about been 14 years old at the time I was so it brings back so many fabulous memories. Love...Read full review »

Hearing people talking nostalgia from your childhood is fun. It’s not the funniest podcast out there but it’s great for rekindling some fond memories from my youth!

Hearing two of my favorites (Emma and Laura) have such a thoughtful conversation about their teenage years was just outstanding. More like this, please!!! So good!

Just like listening to friends chatting. I love this so relatable and real! Thanks x

Listened to both the episodes now, it’s a fun listen and I totally get the concept of it’s supposed to feel like a chat between friends reminiscing but … (and no hate here, just constructive criticism) I struggle with the constant interruptions from Emma, the guest is trying to talk and they keep...Read full review »

In the very overcrowded market of podcasts, one needs to stand out from the crowd for the RIGHT reasons. Unprofessional, poorly produced and uninteresting - I really don’t understand what the point of this is. Emma isn’t good with guests either - listen to what your guests are saying! Don’t just...Read full review »

Ralph the penis had me in hysterics 😂 I remember the book well. Lovely to listen to while pottering about the house. So down to earth.

Emma is just the best. I’ve followed her for awhile now and I just love her! I love her REALNESS and humor. She’s an extraordinary mom. I just… 10/10, I thoroughly enjoy this podcast!!! Go give it a listen! 🫶🏻💕💛

Such a shame as I really like the unmumsy mum but she was asked really boring questions and talked over so much it was not an entertaining listen.
Oliv000 via Apple Podcasts · Great Britain · 03/20/23
Nah
Listened to the second ep for about 10 mins. Didn’t entertain me enough to see it out. Think the concept needs tweaked, no disrespect to Emma or her guest.

I loved this! I was born in 82 and so this really resonated with me, everything they spoke about I was like ‘yessss’ loved the speedo chat and the fact that Emma was so incredulous - so funny!! Liked the narrow focus as it does what it says on the tin was a real light relief from everything else...Read full review »

Having followed for a few years I really wanted to love this, but it was a hard listen with Emma constantly speaking over the guest. I hope she improves on this as would love to give it another go. If Emma let her guest tell her stories to completion I think it might have flowed and the content...Read full review »

Season 1’s guests have been announced, and they’re all white, middle-class influencer wannabes with nothing of substance to say. Hardly diverse. Having a couple of oversized people on here doesn’t tick the diversity box. Emma herself may be a size 22 (oh sorry 18) but she’s not diverse in the...Read full review »

Loved this podcast! I enjoyed every second of listening to this lovely lady take me back in time.
Fairyzebra101 via Apple Podcasts · Great Britain · 03/16/23
This felt a little immature from the podcast host, she tried to shoehorn her own life experience in to that of her guest whom it was obvious had a very different teenage experience. I’m not sure how it relates to a phone box either …

Loved this! Really enjoyable listen, brought back loads of memories and gave me a giggle

Such a shame, feel like this had potential but very chaotic and hard to follow, felt like it was recorded half way through a conversation and made little sense to the listener. Maybe next week with a different guest will be better. Although, the guest list significantly lacks diversity which is...Read full review »

This podcast seems all over the place. I like podcasts to have focus and structure. The host talks way too fast and I think the reason for this is because she’s trying to cram too much in. It would be better if she asked each guest the same 3 questions about their teenage years (desert island...Read full review »
