Do you really have to talk so fast, do you actually draw breath, are there really two of you because someone is talking far more than the lady

I haven’t been into wildlife photography for too long but I’ve been CRAVING to learn more. I’ve found it hard to find answers to my questions. However, after just listening to one episode, I’ve learned WAY more than I have anywhere else. I immediately subscribed to Photo Wild Magazine. So if...Read full review »

I have been following Jared for several years now. This podcast with Annalise is a fantastic combination of solid information and great advice. I highly recommend listening in on their conversations, and more than once in some cases, there is a lot of very useful information in these.

A new favorite, I enjoy the stories about adventures in beautiful places combined with detailed and helpful tips for nature photography. I have learned more in the first few shows than I have in longer courses and books. Much appreciated!

I found this podcast a couple of weeks ago. I have listened to them all, and can not wait till the next one comes out. Loved the podcast so much I had to subscribe to the magazine as well. Just so I could learn even more.

“I like to plan what I can control to give me the freedom to be spontaneous with what I cannot control.” I had never heard a rationale for planning described like this, but it definitely resonates with me!

I started following Jared when he was with the Journal and then followed him to PhotoWild. Both the podcast and the magazine are excellent. Both Jarad and Annalise do a great job. I look forward to each podcast

It’s always a pleasure to find a podcast where the hosts stick to the topic, and don’t laugh, joke and play around. This is such a good professional run podcast. I listen to a lot of podcasts, and ones like PhotoWild are few and far between. They provide a great amount of information for...Read full review »

I have been a fan of Jared Lloyd since I saw him on Gardners wild photo adventure. I joined journal of wildlife photography because of him And I now switched to photowild as well. And have stopped following the journal. I think he is a fantastic resource because of his experience and knowledge.

Stumbled upon this podcast on a road trip to a bird photo workshop in Florida. Glad I did because it changed everything about how I photograph birds in flight. My instructor was trying to get us to use the Eye Autofocus but I stayed with Jared and Annalise’s settings and came back with more tack...Read full review »

Thank you for filling the void left by other wildlife photography podcasts. Excellent instruction and guidance from working wildlife photographers with frequent dives into natural history.

Jared and Annalise have addressed numerous topics in just six episodes, from 'pivoting' a photo workshop based on weather and wildlife behavior (being naturalists) to pre-production and selecting gear for a trip. The episodes have a theme yet still cover many matters, from broad issues...Read full review »

The complaint I have is that this podcast is so captivating, I was listening to it in my car waiting to go into work, and I got so engrossed in the episode that my staff came out looking for me and I was late to work! (The green sloth episode!) I am a veterinarian, who enjoys wildlife/bird...Read full review »

No other podcast like it! This information is what people pay thousands of dollars for on location during a workshop, all for free! Great work and can’t wait to hear more!!

As a photographer , I have approached my craft in the past from an artistic viewpoint. However, Jared and Annalise, with their wealth of knowledge, have taught me not only how to photograph wildlife artistically, but to understand the living animal that I am photographing - the how and why of...Read full review »
