“The amount of ads in each of the seasons is maddening. I started out with the Idaho case where the number of ads was barely tolerable and some of them downright infuriating. Not sure why I then started listening to the earlier seasons covering a different case. Eventually I ended up googling the case details and outcome because the episodes were so repetitive and riddled with even more ads. Stopped listening midway through. I am now actually thinking twice before starting another iheart podcast because I fear another ad avalanche.
Not saying that podcasts shouldn‘t run ads at all. But come on, keep it to a reasonable balance and stop the podcast if you run out of things to discuss. I don‘t need to hear the same details explained in 8 different episodes, each time presented like it was brand-new revelatory information…”
