Good, if flawed
A good-quality podcasts for fans of (supernatural/horror) fiction, The Piper is certainly competent, but marred by the use of cast members with too-similar voices and names, causing unnecessary confusion (especially when insisting on using 'Sis' etc. instead of names). The story, too, could do with some finetuning: general responses to menancing events are unconvincing, as is the denouement. Natasha Khan's music is excellent, but essentially consists in one track - so don't expect a full score. Her efforts deserved a slightly less nonsensical story.Read full review »

Much of this was predictable, however, acting was great , story was solid throughout , I enjoyed every episode!

I just couldn’t get into the characters in this podcast. I also quite often couldn’t understand what they were saying.
