“The title and description paint a picture of a more compelling podcast. I listened to the first two episodes. In the course of telling the story of a once revered man and his rise to prominence in Hollywood normalized relationships between old men and young, barely 18 year old women. Even the ad features the 65 year old host talking about his 7 year old daughter. Even the host has married a woman 20 years his junior! No wonder he glosses over the predatory aspects of the marriage rights. I knew that if this is how women were treated in the early episodes, I would t be able to bare the hosts take on the story of a 20 year old woman who was coerced into sext work by an older man and then fell in love with the director featured in this podcast— who was 21 years her senior. This is why we have the me too movement. Because of men like the director featured in this podcast. Men who used their “power” and fame to take advantage of women much younger than them. Ugh. Who even likes his movies? Yuck.”
