Perfect
Julie Salamon’s book on this subject is terrific and I recommend it to everybody. Her podcast version of the same story is also great—you get to hear the actual voices of the players, famous and behind-the-scenes. The podcast is compelling and, like the book, never takes joy in what would become a byword for “big budget fiasco.” Salamon could have gone the scorched-earth route and invited the listener to mock people like DePalma, but she instead offers a sympathetic (and very funny) look at people trying their best under immense pressure. I can’t recommend this highly enough.

I don’t have the opportunity to see TCM all the time because Sling doesn’t have TCM with my package. So I have this to educate myself with Ben. This first episode and second episode are incredible opening episodes. Can’t wait to hear more.
