Ostensibly, this is a promotional podcast, hyping the forthcoming issue of Poetry Magazine. But that really doesn't do it justice. It's not just a teaser for the magazine, it's a insightful and intriguing discussion of contemporary poetry that stands on its own as a podcast. The co-hosts approach the poems with both a passionate enthusiasm and a critical eye, an all too rare combination.
