Ground up code podcast at its finest
I say ground up because these ladies do a fantastic job at breaking programming down from the very basics up. If you are just starting out programming or even if you're looking to reinforce some golden true fundamentals this is the post cast for you. I held off writing a review until a decent handfull of episodes in it's just brilliant. Everything from how do I get into programming to how to promote yourself when looking for work to the core programming concepts. It literally is turning out to be a podcast that will go through everything from A to Z. I can't recommend this enough. On top of that, both these girls are in the field of tech and computer programming with both qualifications and real life experiences. Do yourself a favour if you are thinking about getting into computer programming no matter what field you are in, or if you are already in the process of getting through learning it or even if you are experienced and enjoy hearing about some common practises when it comes to "talking shop" check this podcast out and subscribe. Thank you Kathryn & Robyn you guys rockRead full review »

More reviews of The Programmer Toolbox
Informative, and to the point. My only gripe might be that they at some points, they do sound a little scripted at times. That'll probably dissipate once they get more comfortable.Read full review »

Awesome ideas. There needs to be more references like this that bridge the gap between a CS major and a software engineer in the industry!

I’ve really loved this podcast thus far. Their stories of how they got started really resonate with me and just hearing their views and opinions bring a breath of fresh air. They make the commutes go by a bit faster and give me the motivation to keep on coding, even with a hectic schedule.
