Promised Podcast
I look forward to Thursdays when I get a new episode of the promised podcast. My random review of the podcast is that the hosts are a good combination of light and serious and that Noah has a phenomenal vocabulary. I enjoy his paragraph-long sentences. Overall, the topics are generally of great interest to me. I am fond of the Israeli cultural references and the choice of music. You all, especially Noah, really let me down last episode by taking the toxic hypocrisy of Michael Chabon so personally. Instead, I wanted you to shred Chabon’s pathetic argument, point by point, not cave into it. I would like there to be more variety in the political perspectives expressed on the show. I think you’d improve the show with a bit of diversity in the opinions expressed. For example, you don't (that I have heard so far) address Palestinian intransigence and continuing incitement. Similarly, you don't go beyond indignantly calling for en end to the "occupation"; what shred of evidence is there that ending it would cause Palestinian leadership to negotiate a solution in good faith? As expected, you rarely find anything positive to say about Trump and the Republicans but I urge you to dig deeper and see the nuances. Slavish leftism among Jews is certainly worth questioning now and again. Still, I'm a devoted listener and hope to be for a good while to come. Thank you.Read full review »

It is led so eloquently and thoughtfully by Noah Efron - indomitably optimistic and with...Read full review »
