“As someone who had little interest in property investing, I'm very impressed by this podcast which is enthusiastic, informative and well presented. As my main area investment is in equity markets, I am learning a great deal about property investment and surpisingly, some of the lessons translate very well between the two arenas - Emphasis on fundamentals, along with solid income and capital gains are things every investor should know. Format is simple, chatty and works extremely well - I find that a couple of people bouncing off one another while discussing a common theme makes for a relaxed way to absorb information. The only negatives I can think of are the lack of understanding of Capital Gains Tax, which is never fun to pay and perhaps the perspective from younger investors who see a 25 year mortgage as a given. I am now addicted to the podcast and time permitting look forward to listening through the archive. For the time being, the siren call of the stock market has my attention. Prior to listening to the podcast, I would never have considered myself a property type and I can now see a realistic chance of adding a property or two to the portfolio at some later stage.
