“It turns out Dr. Kirk is a vile misogynist who participates in the scrutiny of a woman’s every move, every look, and the cadence of her voice to discredit her as she tells the story for the ongoing abuse she suffered at the hands of her much older, much wealthier, much more powerful husband.
If a woman speaks with too much emotion, or not enough, or the cadence is not juuuust right, she’s lying. But, the same cannot be said for her alleged abuser, oh no. Don’t you dare scrutinize HIS cadence one little bit. Thank you for that expert opinion, Dr. Kirk. I’ve sure learned a lot!
