Work-ethic show
This episode was a non-sequitur for the vast majority of people in blue collar work where “radical non-compliance” is in no way an option. Tech hasn’t changed the Taylorism dominating their work lives, just the means and the new reach into the slacker-privileged white collar world. Also, the deployment of Weber was half-baked at best as a supposed precursor of work-life balance premised on internal values beyond the labor theory of value.
