Great, but needs to improve
This is easily the best F1 podcast, but it could be a lot better. Hosts like Mark Hughes, Scott Mitchell-Malm and Gary Anderson make for incredible insights into F1, which mix good factual reporting with interesting opinions. Hughes’ technical knowledge in particular is incredible, and unmatched. The podcast is let down, however, by fairly amateurish elements. Edd Straw is an okay host, but needs to work on presentation. He has the tik of ending most transitional sentences with a rhythmic, newsreader cadence that comes off as artificial and takes one out of the experience. Val Khorounzhiy, I’m afraid, simply shouldn’t be on a professional podcast. His opinions are brash and immature, and he can’t structure his thoughts properly. Even casual fans would find him uninformed. He is reminiscent of Lance Stroll — does he have the spot because of a family connection? It has such potential, but they need to get serious.

More reviews of The Race F1 Podcast
Every time Lewis has a bad Race it’s the teams fault. Every time Mercedes win it’s always because of Lewis. Very annoying and lazy analysis. There are much better F1 podcasts out there listen to them instead

My suggestion would be to open up the regs to allow more diversity in designs and possibly be more...Read full review »
