“I thought I knew Prodigy’s story very well, since I read his autobiography. I suffer from the same disease, were born only a few days apart in NYC. I grew up in Queens, I didn’t know him personally. I just saw him around Jamaica ave plenty of times. I understand his experience the way only others growing up in that time with Sickle Cell Disease SS can. It makes me even more amazed at his impact on the world in his time here. This podcast told his story so well, only he could do better. You allowed him to tell his own story through his own words, but the input from those closest to him added a depth and more complete picture of how he became the man he was.”
