I’ve just started the podcast and twice the host has covered the migration of her family into lands formerly held by indigenous tribes and the wording is so completely sanitized. It makes it very difficult to listen to the discussions knowing that the historical context is being scrubbed. Family...Read full review »

So love this show and it has earned my 5 star rating. After reading the first page of the first book I knew I this book needed to be purchased well done. My only beef from listening to the podcast would be the sound. Nicole’s voice sounds great! Diane in my opinion needs an update. Whenever I...Read full review »

I absolutely love the content of this show. Been listening for at least a year. The genealogical research is done so carefully, and we’ll shared. I will say, I often listen to podcasts while I’m out and about (gym, commute), and I would maybe point out to hosts that the volume seems much much...Read full review »

I enjoyed your course on DNA and listening to your inspiring podcasts. The challenge is to take all this wonderful information and apply it to my own research and reports.

Research Like A Pro is my absolute favorite podcast, and I listen every week. I get all kinds of great ideas while listening to the show. While listening to this week’s episode, I was intrigued by Nicole’s thought about whether Jacob Cline had gone to Kentucky for medical school. Just in case...Read full review »

I recently discovered RLP and am making my way through all of the prior episodes. Superb content. Diana and Nicole present a professional way of doing genealogy in an approachable and helpful manner, always from the point of encouragement.

Nicole and Diana's interview with Debra on Proving Your Pedigree with DNA was inspiring. The take aways from attending SLIG's DNA class to write your report as you research was inspiring. Recently, I had my uncle take a YDNA test to verify and extend my mother's paternal line and it...Read full review »

The hosts are very good at discussing the topics which they tend to break down into small chunks of knowledge. Delightful to listen to this Mother/Daughter team. Excellent source for learning how to become a professional and what you need to do to prepare.

I’ve enjoyed listening to Nicole and Diana share their knowledge on all things genealogy. While I consider myself an intermediate genealogist, I’ve already learned many new things - and hope to learn even more as I work on developing my abilities to that of a professional. Many thanks to you two!

I think it’s weird that a genealogy show about family relationships has a mother/daughter team who address each other by first names rather than by their family relationship.

By and far the best genealogy podcast out there. I’ve finally caught up on all the past episodes after discovering this a couple months ago.
