Long Term View of Political Discussion
Tomorrow I’ll be 77, however don’t stop reading because I’m an old guy. I’ve always been interested in and followed politics. I swing towards the left but was not unduly concerned, prior Mr Johnson, if the Tories were in power and the grown ups were in charge. Since Brexit and Johnson the country has lost its political compass and I need to try and find a true path through the biased media, even the good old Beeb isn’t reliable anymore. Come in Alistair and Rory. I don’t agree with some correspondents who believe it’s wrong that Alastair favours Labour or that Rory may dismiss Labour politicians, that’s what they should do. They often do what politicians can’t (nor does most of the press) and that’s agree on some issues. As a long time listener to radio politics their podcasts are by far the best.

Thoroughly enjoying this first episode and really looking forward to hearing more. Big fan of Rory, a huge loss to parliament.

A mutually generous, erudite discussion from opposite ends of the political spectrum. Full of experience, integrity, yes and even fun! Keep it coming: we need you in these trying times.
