“Gave this five stars when it started, but sad to say it’s become increasingly stale. Two nice enough chaps, and Rory sometimes says something interesting/unexpected, but you can normally predict the script just from the rundown of topics at the start…what is advertised as one Tory and one Labour person discussing the issues often becomes two lefties heartily agreeing that everything’s terrible because Brexit Trump Braverman etc. etc…I mean, I often agree with them on that, but *I’m* not fronting a political podcast, billing myself as a politico worth listening to - so it’d be nice to hear something i hadn’t expected/something original every once in a while.
There are now similarly framed (but better) podcasts out there, so I wouldn’t bother with this one if I were new to it.”
