Truly Life Changing!
Discovering Matt Codde’s Podcast and Restored Minds has been a God send. Listening to Matt’s podcast has given me a renewed sense of hope and well-being. I was immensely struggling earlier this year with intrusive thoughts, anxiety, and panic attacks. I felt constantly attacked by my mind but had no idea what these “thoughts” were which made me even more anxiety ridden and fearful. I was doing so many mental compulsions I was not aware of. In fact, I didn’t even think at all about OCD - since the first thing that comes to mind about OCD is hand washing and germs. Which was not a concern for me. It wasn’t until I read an article where my symptoms were exactly what the article was describing. It was from there I decided to do more research on OCD and stumbled across Matt’s podcast after browsing through so many but I loved his the most. He is so relatable and I love how he tells his personal testimony. He has the most calming and reassuring voice I have ever heard. I have learned so much about OCD and have felt like a 50 pound weight has been lifted off me. This podcast is truly an answered prayer. Matt, thank you thank you for helping me better understand my mental health and giving hope to those who struggle and providing the right tools for recovery and knowing you can take back control!
