I “restarted” my career after retiring from surgery in March 2020. These podcasts have given me the evidence based learning that I needed to get me to be almost where I want to be. Great work guys !

So helpful to not only keep current paramedics up -to-date with the latest guidelines. But also for university students, especially for pre-reading and those last minute revision sessions :).

Fantastic resource provided by experts in their respective fields. And if they’re not expert enough? Bring one on much like the maternity podcasts. Everything me should be given CPD time to listen to these. They will improve practice in some way! Thank you!

Absolutely invaluable resource as a student paramedic , especially commuting to base stations. Can’t do the MCQs in the car but I throughly enjoy listening to these guys make it all seem so very simple.

I’m a student nurse with a job lined up in A&E once I qualify. I’m hoping to specialise in emergency nursing as I progress and I find listening to these podcasts really interesting. I download them and play them in the car which is the only way I can really listen as I have 2 children who...Read full review »

As a recently retired midwife - with over 30 years experience- I found this podcast extremely interesting and also learnt from it! I spent the last 18 years of my career in a stand alone MLU (midwife led unit) and expecting the unexpected was a given. Regular PROMPT training was certainly...Read full review »

I’ve pretty much listened to every episode since these guys started and it has taught me so much. Their approach to evidence based medicine and critical appraisal, combined with covering some of the most relaxant and useful topics in emergency medicine is awesome. As a flight medic, working in remote areas of northern Canada, I spend a lot of time commuting. These podcasts are entertaining and super informative. Just the right length. Really enjoy the papers of the month too. Enough to fill the time while making dinner.

I love these podcasts. Great content, amazing depth of knowledge, but presented in a fun crew-room style with loads of banter by presenters who know they’re not the b-all and who are happy to take the p*** out of each other. I’ve learned so much from them and look forward to every single episode.

The podcast caters for all levels of experience in the emergency field from ‘Road to resus’ ha. I work prehospital and this podcast has allowed me to gain an understanding as to what happens after we transfer care in the ED.

I learned SO MUCH from the episode on newborn life support. Somehow, their discussion got through into my brain and everything made sense. If only someone had explained it this way during med school, or residency, or fellowship. Superb medical discussion, with good audio quality. Thanks!

Thank you both for well presented educational content. Not only did I learn well, but also came across ideas I could take back to my department(Anaesthesia and Crit Care).
