Brilliant, a rewilding podcast brought by those on the ground around Europe, and an informative presenter.

Just want to give a massive shout out for the Rewilding Podcast. As an academic working in the field of European rewilding and nature recovery more generally I just love that I still learn something new with every episode, yet it is also still utterly accessible for anyone, regardless of their...Read full review »

An inspiring podcast wonderfully produced and narrated giving hope to the global biodiversity disaster… these episodes are enjoyable story tellings, a glimpse of other worlds but mostly, are an informative insight in to the science and lessons learnt in landscape restoration and rewilding. I love these podcasts. I’ve already got an interest in rewilding but I think any one interested in nature and the world around them would find these worth a listen. James brings warmth and humour to the subject and I always want to listen to the next one straight away. I’m having to ration myself...Read full review »

I’ve really enjoyed listening to the podcast. I’ve been aware of Rewilding initiatives in the U.K. but the great thing about this podcast has been learning about all the different Rewilding projects across Europe. As always with Rewilding it brings me hope for me my kids and our world. Hope you...Read full review »

Such a tonic - in a world full of sadness and negativity this podcast is so restorative, immersing you in good news for nature and how humans are working together to repair the damage we’ve done - I cannot recommend it more.

This is a lovely podcast giving a snapshot of some of the amazingly impressive rewilding work going on across Europe (and the UK). James Shooter explores some of the fascinating sites of forest, river and fauna recovery in various nations with interviews with some of the most inspiring...Read full review »

This series is beautifully presented and paints vivid pictures of the landscapes and people associated with each site that James visits. I found each episode informative, positive, and hopeful - exactly what you’d expect from rewilding projects. Those who don’t have a background or detailed...Read full review »

Even I when I listened the first episode and I thought that one would be a great one! Because it is recorded outside, we can feel that we are there in too and that makes this kind of podcast more interesting and dynamic. Way better that a classic studio podcast.

Loving this podcast! Excellent for helping manage eco-anxiety - it’s so full of hope and the wonder of nature. Hope it carries on for many many years.

This engaging podcast took me back to being in a science or geography lesson. I’ve loved learning about rewilding, a concept I’ve never understood the true meaning. Listening to how James describes his surroundings was a serene and at times, hilarious! Each guest has been passionate and...Read full review »

An excellently produced podcast that I’ve started to really look forward to. Amazing how they set the scene so well. Endlessly fascinating and thankfully they end on a hopeful note-with the caveat that there is still much work to be done.

I have listed to the first episode and, if this is typical of what’s to come then there is much to look forward to. James is knowledgable, passionate and engaging but he allows others to shine in this podcast. I hadn’t realised just how much the wildlife of Scotland had been denuded by man. ...Read full review »
