Really good but..
Great podcast. However I feel really uncomfortable with his mentions of religion and have adjusted my review. Putting it alongside a belief in aliens doesn’t sit right with me personally and belittles important aspects of many lives. In addition, there are many studies which show the positive impact religion, belief, and church can have.. This content overlooks the human need of communities to create Gods throughout history (Which is not the same as extremism or other negative forms of religious activity). At best I don’t feel this is an unbiased or wholly well informed look at mental health. If you don’t fully understand something (ie religion) it’s best not to mention it, surely? I’m not entirely sure where I sit with my faith but I think religious people would find the podcast inappropriate, and others may realise it’s not completely well researched in all aspects Richard discusses.
