Worth a hate listen these days
If ever two guys deserved simultaneous wedgies, its these two guys. Let me start by saying that i genuinely appreciate the sixers coverage. i used to "like" listen. I now "hate" listen and i think this transition occurred when Spike became more aggressively annoying and condescending with his opinions. Fun aside: he once told me Spencer Hawes does not stink so i think back on that lovingly with every Canaan praise of Okafor insult. Somewhere over that last year and a half, i feel like these two left the planet earth. Blind devotion just because there was any plan whatsoever put on the table. Think David Koresh. Think Branch Davidians. Never mind that the plan ignored every other aspect necessary except asset collection. who cares about players developing!? we got a pick swap! maybe! The worst part is that the one track plan-related agenda did not even burn in the fire. They push this agenda still with matching outfits and coreographed dance cheers. Its now full of bullied vitriol. Flintstone-like conventions now occur complete with the water buffalo hats and nametags. Philadelphia has now shattered the record for inside joke related, awkward high-fives all because of the Ricky. That said, these two do seem to care about the team. At least i think they still do. And i do enjoy the dog barking on cue.Read full review »
