The most recent episode of dual threat “biggest questions” is the perfect encapsulation of what most of the nfl ringer employee has become. They are far more interested in riffing on jokes about Aaron Rodgers relationship with his family as it pertains to his draft experience and how it forebode...Read full review »

Sheil Kapadia and Ben Solak are tough to listen to. They darts around and repeat themselves. A little hard to follow.

I hate to do this because EPT is a really good show but it baffles me that Nora continues to have a roll as a regular host on Duel Threat. She not only never says anything interesting, she’s literally a progress stopper to someone else making a good point. She will interrupt with a joke that...Read full review »

Love Extra Point Taken. Ruiz being replaced on Dual Threat would be ideal. He’s just not good at this. I stopped listening to Dual Threat months ago because of him. Nora and Austin would make for a better pod imo.

I think we’ve all heard enough of her living in Denver. We get it. So happy for you. Love the duos, tho. Great show!

Can Ben and Sheil get their own feed? Nora is the most annoying personality in football media. Maybe add Ruiz to Extra Point Taken and get rid of Dual Threat altogether

Love the show, for real. But for the record, Sam Darnold had a worse situation in his first 3 years than Justin Fields. Don’t even care about Sam just a fact. Also a fact: Fields is a better qb and played better in his first 3 years than Sam. Sam kept the Jets in more games in year 2 than he gets...Read full review »

Would it be possible to turn down the volume on the little jingle that plays between segments? Just so it’s the same volume as the segments would be great!

Were discussing the Hunt family and they lazily assumed the Hunt family was behind Hunt’s Ketchup Stephen said “all Ketchup is the same” It most certainly is not all the same… Heinz is the standard, everything else is ghetto

Extra point taken is an entertaining listen. They can provide some insight and generally do so in a palatable way. Dual threat is terrible and frequently leads me to consider deleting the entire podcast from my feed.

For a 5–star review. I love you all

This used to be one of my “go to” podcasts for information and analysis. Now it’s just Ruiz with bad “hot takes,”Nora laughing at her own inside jokes, Sheil trying to be the coolest guy in the room, and Solak getting so excited that his voice reaches levels only animals can hear. Every time one...Read full review »

Very disappointing Super Bowl analysis. They don’t even mention the game winning QB Mahomes until 10 min in. Spend most of it talking about Niners and Shanahan out coached Reid & say that taking ball first in ‘sudden death’ overtime is best strategy….uhh…that’s certainly a take.
Bestill77 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 02/20/24
What’s with Sheil making his entire “personality” revolve around trolling Solak? It’s so boring when he constantly asks Solak for sources, like: who is saying that?!, even though they’re things we all hear friends and sportscasters talking about. Or if Solak misspeaks one word he jumps all over...Read full review »

Solak doesn’t understand how to have a conversation with his fellow hosts. He constantly interrupts to go off on rapid paced monologues that offer mediocre analysis. Top tier NFL show. I was scared when Kevin Clark and that other dude left but gotta say I like all of them and their personalities and insights and don’t mind the podcast by committee. Solak and Sheil are ok. But Steven is trash, they just gave a internet troll a podcast. He’s not funny nor intresting and he just wants to put out outrageous takes. Man. I miss Kevin Clark and Robert Mays. Gave it a try this season but I’m out if Ruiz is involved in 2024.

Dual threat just doesn’t work - if the hosts did not use social media during the season, possible they would be compelling. Way too online. I think what makes ep work is that sheil doesn’t fall down those rabbit holes, so brings some reality to the show. Love everyone’s effort, hope for the best.

I would suggest not putting your smuggest, third string data nerds on this show and just sticking with the A-team. Never listening again.

The two who pod immediately after games are hard to listen to. Their points are unclear and she giggles annoyingly at the end of each sentence. This is the one NFL podcast I usually pass on.

I have been listening to Ringer NFL on-and-off for the past few years. I never felt compelled to write a review for any podcast that I listen to, but I must say- Extra Point Taken is officially a must-listen for me and has been all season. When a new episode comes out I will drop whatever I’m...Read full review »

Want to listen to two people who hate football? If so then Nora and Steven are right for you. Because according to them wins are not a QB stat (unless it fits the narrative ex. Hurts), great stats don’t matter if the team is good (unless you’re Dak), and both do not matter unless you have big...Read full review »

Do you find yourself hankering for less informative but more “diverse” NFL analysis? Well… you have come to the right place. The Ringer: where your melanin and gonads are more important than your merit and abilities.

Pretty good show, but as a lions fan stop doubting us! Not saying we are making the playoffs next year, but we just won the NFC North for the first time ever! Why are we talking about next season? I trust someday ya’ll will give us some respect.

Only talk about the same teams over and over again for some reason have a bias against a lot of teams and mostly they just start saying words and hope the sentence makes sense by the end of it. Lazy show

My guy, could you at least mention that the 49ers had BOTH starting tackles out against the Cardinals and maybe that’s why the 49ers run defense suffered a bit? These guys love the smell of their own farts. This review is specific to the dual threat podcast. They have a group of 5-6 nfl QBs they deem worthy, and dismiss the rest of the the teams in the league. Doesn’t matter how well a team is playing. Enjoy a host who talks so fast it sounds like he’s talking with marbles in his mouth? Enjoy being yelled at by a prepubescent boy? Then this pod is for you! Solak has some growing up and should really speak with a professional about his insecurities. Kapadia is great.

Sheil and Ben are great because they’re both extremely knowledgeable and entertaining. Plus they have the perfect balance of respect for each other and tendency to get on each other’s nerves that makes for fun listening.
